On 19 November 2003, all the smart set of Geneva gathered together at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for the inauguration of its wing, Rive Gauche. Carlo Lamprecht, Cabinet Minister and Arie van der Speck (InterContinental Hotels Group) made speeches to the 1500 guests, invited by René de Picciotto (Strader SA). Among those present were Hervé Dessimoz, the architect of the superb hotel extension, Jean-Jacques Gauer, and André Curchod, all captivated by the imaginative prowess of the show presented by the EXOS troupe.
